Snowflakes and Songs

The winter-time session of Little Voices Music & Motion classes begins the third week of January.

There are seven classes, in five different locations, from which to choose: Lansing Town Hall, Dryden Town Hall, Ithaca Youth Bureau, Jillian’s Drawers on the Ithaca Commons and at the Cornell Child Care Center.

Little Voices Music & Motion is a research based class for infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers and kindergartners with parents or other caregivers along for the fun. We sing Kid songs, we dance, and we play with instruments and movement props to music that varies widely in tonality, rhythm and style.
This program prepares children for a lifetime of loving and making music. It teaches basic rhythm and tonal skills. It prepares them for formal music lessons and assists in the development of language, math, motor and social skills. It’s also a playful, relaxing time for parents, grandparents and other caregivers.

The fee for the ten week session is $125 per child, $90 for siblings, FREE for infant siblings eight months and younger. (Note that registration fees at the Ithaca Youth Bureau vary). Please register by January 10th. You can also visit this page.

Gift certificates and scholarships are available.
