Though requests for fall and holiday merchandise began in August, our Halloween and seasonal-fall home décor and merchandise didn’t hit our shelves until mid-September and October 1st kicked-off the start of our [hopefully] busy last quarter of 2013. It is that time of year…between holiday merchandise arriving, the last of the gift shows for the year and the beginning of our hosted parties, there is little time for anything else. It is the time of year that flies by and in the blink of an eye, Christmas is upon us and we haven’t done any of our own personal holiday shopping. Of course, this didn’t stop us from making a pretty big change to the layout of our shop—- which involved moving our business offices to the smallest rooms in the back of the building and using the larger spaces as sales floor, as well as some rearranging of current rooms. But perhaps the biggest change is Shots by Shana Photography’s new studio, now located in the lower level. The new studio space accommodates sittings for larger families and groups and allows for additional floors, photo backdrops and props. We know that you’ll love the shop’s convenient new layout and additional sales space as well as the new photo studio!
To kick-off our Christmas season, we have a holiday open house on Saturday, November 16th from 10am-6pm. Joyce Lowe will be here with beautiful candle, floral and pip arrangements—offering customers a chance to purchase affordable and unique handmade gifts. We will offer warm beverages and snacks during the open house, as well as a few specials you won’t want to miss!
We will also be offering specials for Black Friday (11/29) and Small Business Saturday (11/30). Be sure you like us on Facebook to receive information on our special events and sales.
Interested in earning store credit??? Consider hosting a holiday party! We schedule hosted parties throughout the holiday season, with themes such as “Wine, Cheese and a Shopping Spree,” or “Girls’ Night Out!” Our parties take place after hours and hostesses earn 20% of all sales in store credit. It is a great way to see friends and enjoy time together while accomplishing some holiday shopping.
