F.L.M.C. is New York’s “Top Starter Microd Club”

Since 2004 Finger Lakes Microd Club has introduced 133 new Drivers to the sport of Microd racing.  There are many good reasons for this, first is cost – You don’t have to buy a Microd to race at F.L.M.C. !  You can rent a Microd and try racing for a year or even two, before buying your Microd.  The cost of doing this is very affordable, exactly $480.00 for the entire summer. (The season lasts from May to September) Second, they offer a chance to Try-out ,  Where a parent can bring their child & let them try driving a Microd for 10 laps or so,  at no charge!  Third a parent doesn’t have to have a great working knowledge of mechanics in order to compete.  Fourth,  all car must weigh-up to the heaviest car – driver combination in their class, and drivers draw chips each week yo see which motors they will get.  These last two principals are designed to keep the playing field as level as possible and allow drivers to concentrate on developing their confidence & driving skills.

The Finger Lakes Microd Club Track is located just off the corners of Rts. of 38 & 34B, and is the sport of Microding’s Premiere Facility. The club track offers a picturesque setting with all of its beautiful shade trees, lush landscaped lawn, and well kept buildings. A fine setting for you to spend time with your family & friends.  Another nice feature of the club they are inclusive meaning they have Microds with hand controls, to accommodate children with disabilities.
