The Fabric Patch, located at 5 West Main St in Marathon opened its’ doors in October 2012. The shop is locally owned and operated by Karen Fritts of Marathon.
Karen’s love of quilting inspired her to open the shop. Karen has been behind a sewing machine since a little girl. She learned sewing as a member of The Busy Bee Beavers 4H Club. You can also find a heavy duty sewing machine here!
The Fabric Patch offers quite a selection of bolted and flat fold fabrics, thread, patterns, quilt kits, as well as completed quilts, wall hangings, table toppers and much more.
Karen also has a quilting machine on site that will finish your quilt with hand guided edge to edge machine quilting.

Karen is always willing to help you plan and select fabrics for your projects.
Current summer hours are: Wed 10 – 6; Thurs 10 – 8; Fri 10 – 4; and Sat 10 – 2. Closed Sundays. Mondays and Tuesdays by chance or appointment. Phone 607-849-3611.
