The Second Knob Gifts & Antiques is a charming little shop on the border of the Village of Dryden, NY.  The shop is owned and operated by father/daughter team, Andy Seyfried and Shana Karn.

The Second Knob opened in March 2011. We are conveniently located on Route 13 (129 North Street) just fifteen minutes from Ithaca or Cortland, and from Greek Peak Mountain Resort/Hope Lake Lodge in Virgil. Our store offers a unique selection of gifts for all occasions, jewelry, greeting cards, candles, home décor items and antiques. We pride ourselves in carrying many “Made in the USA” items. We also have some handmade merchandise from local crafters. The Second Knob buys antiques and collectibles or will take some items on consignment.

Gifts… We are thrilled to offer customers Bread and Butter Silver Factory jewelry, which has roots in Dryden! We, also offer Bauble Lulu bracelets and beads from The Good Bead. These cute bracelets and beads are affordable and fun!  Perhaps, you are looking for a small hostess gift? Our selection of Rabbit Creek and Pelican Bay mixes are easy to prepare and delicious! We have a wine-themed gift section, which offers unique signs and wine racks by Wine Barrel Designs. We are pleased to offer the Goose Creek line of poured wax candles with hand-painted folk art labels and a line of soy candles by Mostly Memories. Whether you are gift-shopping or just out for a drive, please stop by and browse through our incredible selection of gifts. You won’t be sorry you stopped!

Antiques… As you enter our store, you’ll find many vintage and primitive pieces scattered about and hung on walls serving to display some of our gifts.

In our lower level, you’ll meander between oak and maple dressers, pass by glass-front china cabinets, drop leaf tables, blanket chests and 1-drawer stands. You’re likely to see globes, stoneware jugs and crocks with nice cobalt decorations, 1930’s/40’s Roseville or 1950’s Fenton. In one area of the lower level, you’ll findAdirondack pack baskets, snow shoes, fishing nets, wooden fishing lures, old reels, early wooden long bows and arrows.
