Opening Saturday, April 6th on 130 South Main Street, Cortland, NY is the first self-serve frozen yogurt shop in Cortland! Yo Way is a very modern and unique shop with bright colors, and unique chairs. Yo Way Frozen Yogurt has been established by Matt Kessler, 21, of Venice Center and Teddy Swan, 22, of Moravia, NY because of their desired passion for frozen yogurt. Yo Way has 12 different flavors of frozen yogurt at all times, and will be switching flavors based on the seasons/holidays. There is a variety of 36 toppings to choice from which will also vary slightly depending on the holiday season. The frozen yogurt is priced at 0.47 cents per ounce. There will be 50% off all sales with ad, and 20% off for just walk in’s with no ad. Frozen yogurt is comparatively low in calories and fat compared to ice cream. This makes it a popular choice with dieters and the health-conscious. In addition, frozen yogurt can be a good source of calcium and protein and has some of the digestive benefits of yogurt.
