Paul Juser brings Danglehorn to you!

Elementary readers will love Danglehorn, the story of an elephant named Ka, and a rhinoceros named Ra who must overcome their differences to protect their land and food. Ka’s mother, Matriarch, is the leader of the elephants. Ra’s displaced family are tired and hungry when they arrive in the Valley. Ka tricks Matriarch into ordering the rhinoceros out, but  soon discovers an even greater threat is about to arrive. Jason Cleveland illustrates this chapter book adapted from Paul Juser’s 2007 play. Danglehorn is not only entertaining, but discusses the natural lives of the animals, diversity, honesty, and helping others that may not have helped first.

Paul Juser is an author from Binghamton, NY. His fiction, poetry, and script have been published internationally.  Danglehorn is Paul’s first book for children, drawing from a career performing daily for an elementary audience as a school portrait photographer. Juser’s animated readings draws the audience into the story and gives ample opportunity for audience participation. The audience will see masks and items used in the original production of Danglehorn, and enter a coloring contest to win a Danglehorn T-shirt.

Paul Juser will be reading from Danglehorn at the Skaneateles Library on February 9th at 1pm, the Cortland Free Library on March 11th at 6:30pm, and the Phillips Free Library in Homer on March 16th at 1:30. For more information and upcoming events, visit www.Danglehorn.com
