Hospicare Fall Volunteer Training

Dates: Saturdays and Sundays: 9/22, 9/23, 9/29, & 9/30 (attendance at all 4 sessions is required)
Times: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day
Location: Nina K. Miller Hospicare Center, 172 East King Road, Ithaca

Hospicare depends on the incredible commitment of more than 100 volunteers who put in thousands of hours supporting our patients and families, as well as supporting the Hospicare staff. New volunteer recruiting and training typically happens twice per year, in the spring and in the fall.

All volunteers receive an orientation in hospice philosophy with direct-care volunteers completing a mandatory 20-hour training program.
