Cortland County SPCA – We Have Puppies!
Posted by Dustin Horton // March 20, 2012 // News // 1 Comment
We have PUPPIES! BUT, before you adopt a puppy, take these things into consideration… they take a lot of time and energy, they have vet bills, they need to be house trained, they need to be walked and played with daily, they don’t sleep all night at first, they need to learn manners.. the list goes on. But most of all are you prepared to adopt for life? A pet isn’t a toy you can just toss out when you are tired of it. Think hard and make wise decisions. We will be attending the Business Showcase on March 31. Please stop by and visit us. On Saturday morning May 12, we will be holding the FIRST ANNUAL BIKER RUN! Watch for details on our website! Kitten season is right around the corner! Would you be interested in being a foster parent? Please call the shelter at 607-753-9386 (CCSPCA) for information.

I hope all the new little puppies are able to find good homes! Thanks for encouraging people to make wise decisions before getting a puppy. They will be a lot more work than an older shelter dog, but if you are prepared for all of the work that needs to go into these guys, I’m sure they will make great pets!
