March 22nd Is Next Veteran Information Night

The South Central Region of the American Red Cross, in partnership with Lockheed Martin, the Vets Center, and the NYS Veterans Administration, will host the third Veteran Information Night of 2011 on March 22 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. This month’s information night will discuss the Resume Writing & Job Interview Skills.

On hand as guest speakers for this career oriented event will be Mark Wallace, a Lockheed Martin recruiter and Bill Fowler from the Broome Tioga Workforce. Event participants will have access to computers and will be given a free flash drive with resume samples to use when making job application.

This is the third of 12 information nights being held this year to help veterans and their families learn about the services and benefits available to them. Each participant will also receive a free “Reintegration Vet Kit” filled with tools, information and other resources. Free refreshments will be served.
