One More Category Needs to be Filled for Heroes Breakfast
The public response to identifying and nominating Local Heroes has been outstanding. Thank you! However one Hero category remains vacant – Animal Hero. So once again we are asking you to dig deep and try to remember a special dog, cat, bird, horse – any animal who has gone the extra distance and performed a heroic act, like saving a human life. However, no matter how small an act of courage, we’d like to hear about it.
Go to www.tompkins-redcross.org and fill in the Hero Nomination form posted on the site, or call 272-6582. Your special animal will be recognized at the April 29th Heroes Recognition Breakfast at TC3.
