Wendy’s Supports Local Chapters for Red Cross Month
Posted by Dustin Horton // February 28, 2011 // News
To celebrate Red Cross Month this March, local Wendy’s Restaurants will be selling “Red Cross Squares” at $1 each to support the South Central Region of the American Red Cross. At the end of the campaign, Wendy’s will present a check to support disaster services and all other Red Cross humanitarian programs throughout the region.
By purchasing a “$1 Red Cross Square” at a Wendy’s Restaurant in March, you are helping your local Red Cross Chapter remain strong and ready to help you and your neighbor when and if disaster strikes.
About the American Red Cross:
Your American Red Cross shelters, feeds and provides emotional support to victims of disasters; supplies nearly half of the nation’s blood; teaches lifesaving skills; provides international humanitarian aid; and supports military members and their families. The Red Cross is a charitable organization — not a government agency — and depends on volunteers and the generosity of the American public to perform its mission.
