Dryden Hotel – The Legend Continues

Proud of the past…primed for the future!

The Dryden Hotel has a past unparalleled by most other businesses in the area. First rented out by Tom Lewis on Main Street in 1844, the Dryden Hotel was soon enlarged and rebuilt as the Grove Hotel. After being destroyed by fire in 1866, James Cole rebuilt the historic building in 1871. In the early 1900s, the Dryden Hotel was fit with steam heating and indoor plumbing, and stood until another fire swept through it in December of 1995. After 7 months of rebuilding, the Dryden Hotel was reopened in July of 1996, complete with 11 studio apartments, a barbershop and a hotel lounge. The hotel is still serving the community over 150 years later, and manager Cassie Byrnes is proud of all the Dryden Hotel still has to offer.

The Dryden Hotel is open and serving fresh homemade breakfast, lunch, dinner, and pizza 7 days a week, with daily breakfast, lunch and dinner specials. Make the Hotel your place to go to watch all of your favorite sports and games. With their 8 LED TV’s (2 with 80” screens), their 12 beers on tap, and their friendly, relaxing atmosphere, you won’t want to be anywhere else!!
