Mike’s Fish Tank – Glofish

Glofish are extremely popular these days. They are born brilliant.

They are not injected, painted or dyed. Inherited lifelong color

does not harm the fish.Same care as any other community fish. They are made from danios, tetras and barbs so they do like a heated aquarium. I keep the temperature up around 78 to 79 degrees.Some of the led lights will make the glofish glo even more but they still look really nice under a regular fluorescent light.

They just came out with a green and a red glo tiger barb. The danios and tetras come in green, pink, orange, purple, red and blue. I have also heard that they are about to come out with a longfin danio glo barb. They also make glofish plastic plants and several glofish decorations that also glo. Recently they come out with color changing plants, which change colors as the light hits them.

A glofish food is available now which helps keep their color vibrant.I am sure we will be seeing a lot more glofish items in the very near future.
