June 15 – Turning Gardens into Pollinator Habitats

Posted by  //  June 2, 2015  //  Calendar of Events

6:30-8:30 pm

Attractive flowering plants that support pollinators throughout their lives add another dimension to gardens and landscapes.  Native plants in particular are great for our native pollinators, such as butterflies.  There are pollinator plants you can use whether your site is hot and dry, wet, clay, sand, or dry shade.  Turning Gardens into Pollinator Habitats will be offered Mon. June 15, 6:30-8:30 pm at the Tompkins County Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center, 615 Willow Avenue, Ithaca.  $5-$10 self-selected sliding scale fee.  Pre-registration recommended to ensure enough handouts.  Please call 272-2292 for more information or registration.
