Charlie Dennis founded this company in 1984 after discovering the convenience of stoker stoves, the affordability of anthracite and the comfort of coal heat.

He always thought that everyone should be warm during the winter season and during the previous decade this wasn’t happening. People had begun to burn wood as it was all they could afford, but not in the safest stoves. The coal stoker stoves changed all of that.

The stokers efficiency is 87-90% and there is no creosote in burning anthracite. We have carried “Famous Reading Anthracite” for close to 30 years. This is the best coal you can buy and as it’s washed and oiled at the breaker, it is considered clean & dust free. Remember not all coal is created Equal!!! You can get cheap coal with a lot of stone and fines. At the end of the day, you will not be happy!  You will be cleaning your stove weekly instead of monthly and you will not be getting the BTU’s that you paid for, but a lot more dust! One ton of coal has the BTU’s of 200 gal of fuel oil and costs only $255.  We are also HEAP approved for 7 counties. Our coal is available bagged or bulk, we deliver or you can save by picking up your own here at our barn. Fall through spring we are open 7 days/week. We carry a complete line of stove parts and we service all of our coal stoves. We carry many lines of coal stoves.
